On a day where women are celebrated and recognised worldwide, our client and charity Simon On The Streets became ‘Simone On The Streets’, to raise awareness of homeless women living rough on International Woman’s Day.

The campaign, held annually throughout March, launched in Leeds City Square today, and to show our support for our client several of us from Enjoy went to take a look.

Led by a collaboration between students from Leeds Beckett University and Leeds College of Art, students at the event held a series of placards to highlight the hardships faced by women living rough.

Female statues lining the square were also adorned with plaques, designed by one of the students, to illustrate the stories of homeless women who come from desperate situations.

#SimoneOnTheStreets is live throughout March, and is a very worthwhile and worthy cause, raising awareness understanding around homelessness for women.
