We have strengthened our pro bono third sector partnerships by delivering Leeds-based charity, Simon on the Streets, a brand new website to assist it in providing vital help to people in need across West Yorkshire.

Simon on the Streets is an independent charity which offers assistance and support at a local level, in the forms of emotional and practical assistance, to vulnerable people who are already or at risk of sleeping rough in Leeds, Huddersfield and Bradford.

The new website, built in Umbraco CMS, will enable the charity to continue making the public aware of the ground-breaking work its dedicated volunteers undertake on a daily basis. The updated design provides a flexible foundation, making it more user-friendly to engage new supporters and volunteers to get involved and provide donations.

The new website puts a strong emphasis on the events’ section which has proven to be an integral way of raising awareness for the charity, such as the annual rough sleep-out ‘Sleep With Simon’, which is being held on 29th September: www.simononthestreets.co.uk/fundraising/campaigns/sleepwithsimon

We will continue to provide assistance with ongoing retainer site management, building the microsites for the rough sleep out, as well as improving the content and search ranking of the new website.

Ed Gallagher, General Manager for Simon on the Streets, said: “We were desperately in need of a new website to boost our engagement with our supporters and the wider public in order to improve our services for vulnerable people sleeping rough. We’re extremely grateful for Enjoy Digital’s ongoing generosity in supporting us. This new site will make a genuine impact to our work in helping to turn people’s lives around.”

Jonathan Filewood, Managing Director of Enjoy Digital, added: “This web project is part of our continued commitment to Simon on the Streets in helping it implement a hugely effective digital marketing strategy. We’ve worked with the charity for several years and I’ve seen the valuable contribution it makes to the lives of so many in need.”
