We are delighted to have added children’s charity Variety to our growing number of third sector partnerships, by providing social media management of its 2016 events' programme which raises funds for sick, disabled and disadvantaged children across Yorkshire.

Variety has been supporting disadvantaged children in the UK for over 60 years through practical support and memorable childhood experiences. Its practical support aims to reduce the bad days children have and create more great days which will ultimately help to build self-esteem and independence.

Social media is crucial in Variety’s fundraising efforts as well as raising awareness for the charity. As such, we interact with key influencers pre, during and post event to boost reach and drive engagement thereby helping to raise funds.

Back in May, our Twitter campaign for the Variety sponsored Yorkshire Property Awards resulted in a total reach of 815,000 and almost 400 posts under #VarietyYPA16. We hope to continue this social media success across Variety's remaining Yorkshire based events this year to underpin its fundraising efforts.

Charlotte Farringdon, Regional Development Manager for Variety Yorkshire, commented on our appointment earlier this year: “We are thrilled Enjoy Digital will be assisting with our busy events programme throughout Yorkshire, to boost social media engagement that is so integral to our fundraising efforts.”

Johnathan Filewood, Managing Director of Enjoy Digital, added: “We’ve been working with Variety across its programme of regional events, by driving social media interaction and helping the charity raise awareness in one of its biggest regions – Yorkshire”
