It’s that time of year again when thousands of Yorkshire folk gather in Leeds city centre for the Leeds Abbey Dash, the run which takes place this year on 16th November 2014.

As one of the flattest 10k races in the UK, it is a perfect opportunity for any runner to achieve a personal best.

Members of the Enjoy Digital team completed the run last year, but we are upping our game this year with even more team members taking part. You’ll find us running in our awesome new Enjoy Digital branded t-shirts and then we’ll be celebrating our achievement while re-hydrating at the German Market in the city centre.

We are proud to take part in local events which help to raise money and awareness for charitable causes; and following last month’s fundraising with Simon on the Streets in September, we’ll be running the Abbey Dash in support of The Isaac Nash Trust. The Isaac Nash Trust is close to our hearts as we know Isaac’s family well; Isaac Nash was tragically taken from us earlier this year at the young age of 12 by the sea in North Wales.

We hope to raise a whopping £2,000 which will go towards TINT’s goal of £100,000 to build a Skate Park in memory of Isaac, with an additional £10,000 being donated by TINT to the Royal National Lifeboat Institution, to help them save more lives in danger at sea.

We are currently in training to run our socks off in memory of Isaac. If you see us on the day please give us a cheer! If you also spot us at the German Market afterwards feel free to come and say hi.
