For this role, we're looking for:

  • A proven track record working in an SEO-focused, preferably agency, environment with one to three years’ experience
  • Strong communication skills both within internal teams and to clients in verbal/written formats
  • A proactive get-up-and-go attitude, always going above and beyond
  • Flexibility – you can adapt to new situations and challenges, are open to ideas and able to embrace change
  • The ability to take ownership of problems and work to solve these with resources available to you
  • Excellent organisation skills able to produce plans that tie directly into client’s marketing strategies with their objectives in mind
  • Passionate about SEO and digital marketing and willing to continually develop and share knowledge
  • Excellent time management skills and able to plan, organise, and schedule workloads across a number of projects to hit deadlines and KPIs
  • Strong presentation skills and able to confidently talk in front of clients, prospective new clients, and internal team members
  • Always showing your best and remaining positive

Key job responsibilities:

  • Working alongside and supporting the SEO/wider digital marketing team in day-to-day management of accounts
  • Contributing to SEO/digital marketing strategies to achieve client objectives and producing activity plans accordingly
  • Carrying out technical SEO audits, technical SEO reviews and responsible for solving technical issues or problems
  • Carrying out keyword research to feed into overall strategy
  • Making on-site content recommendations to help achieve client objectives
  • Working with the PR & Social team to develop well thought-out campaigns/activity that assists in achieving client goals
  • Work with our Content Editor to develop content strategies that assist in achieving client goals
  • Implementing best practice SEO across new site builds & migrations
  • Reviewing/monitoring performance across accounts and implement SEO best practices
  • Producing performance reports and attending calls/meetings
  • Following latest developments in SEO/industry news and feeding back to the team
  • Contributing to research for projects/strategies/pitches
  • Contributing to content/campaign brainstorming sessions
  • Researching client competitors & feeding back findings to the team
