PR and Social Manager

We're looking for a PR and Social Manager to join our team - could it be you?

We're looking for a creative and pro-active PR & Social Manager to sit in our growing digital marketing team. 

You will be self-motivated and reactive, leading the team to create exceptional digital PR and social media campaigns.

You should be comfortable communicating and collaborating with both clients and the media and will be working with the wider digital strategy team on holistic strategies for clients.



For this role, we're looking for:

  • A proven track record of social media and digital PR work, preferably in an agency environment, with at least 3 years’ experience
  • A strong communicator with a positive and can-do attitude, self-confident and able to inspire confidence in others, as well as being confident with presenting in front of clients
  • A pro-active approach to work, going above and beyond is key in this role as well as effective problem solving
  • Strong commercial awareness and strategic thinking, being able to understand client briefs/pitching processes to achieve the client objectives
  • A natural leader – able to manage, support and mentor, as well as train and develop staff and team members
  • Good project management and time keeping skills – able to plan and execute work and projects in a timely manner

Key job responsibilities: 

  • Working alongside and supporting the PR, social and wider digital marketing team in day-to-day management of accounts
  • Working with the SEO, copy and the creative teams to develop campaigns/content that can achieve coverage/increase brand awareness
  • Manage and lead the PR and social offering within the agency, including contributing to pitches, supporting client projects, assisting client reports, and building relationships internally and externally
  • Develop and project manage social media campaigns, digital PR campaigns, and other creative campaigns within the digital marketing team
  • Oversee all of media relations activity and develop and maintain relationships with key influencers and journalists across a range of sectors relevant to clients
  • Responsible for the PR & social activity across a number of high-profile accounts within the agency ensuring the standards of the activity is constantly at a high level and processes are in place to drive efficiency
