We've got an exciting opportunity for a Head of Paid Media to join our team and help us build and grow a team of specialists whilst also further enhancing our paid media offering.
What You'll Be Doing:
Team management
Resource management of the Paid Media team to ensure they are fully utilised and allocated to any new projects in a fast-paced environment, whilst taking P&L figures into consideration.
Setting and implementing continuing professional development plans (CPDs) / training plans to ensure the team has the knowledge and clarity to excel in their role and progress within the agency.
Ensuring members of the team are fulfilling their responsibilities to the required standards through day-to-day management, regular one-to-ones, reviews, and team meetings.
Utilising the information and training provided from our employee engagement survey platform to improve the culture, engagement, and motivation of the team.
Business Change:
Working with the Strategic Board and other heads of department to achieve our plans/targets against the company vision, uphold company values, maintain/improve our culture and create/complete key initiatives to drive the agency forward in achieving its vision.
Working with each department to help us continuously improve our drive for seamless integration
Continuously develop working practices/processes/resources to improve results and improve efficiencies across the agency
Day-to-day:
Acting as the senior point of contact for our clients and as a liaison between internal teams
Working alongside the Strategy and the wider Performance teams, you will be responsible for researching, planning, and building successful paid media strategies as part of an integrated approach to achieving client objectives.
Running the management across multiple paid media accounts/strategies concurrently for some household brands
Efficiently managing client's paid media spend across channels/platforms in line with allocated budgets
Performing client reviews and identifying opportunities to improve and grow the account in line with achieving our client's objectives
Delivering in-depth, structured reports to our clients and communicating key information whilst keeping them up to date with planned activity
Forecasting the impact planned paid media activity will have on results against KPIs/Objective
Working alongside the CRO, UX and Creative teams to devise and implement ongoing tests in order to consistently improve performance
Creating 90-day rolling activity plans highlighting what impact the activity will have on any forecasts and the client's KPIs and objectives.
Actively monitoring account performance data & improve accounts/campaigns to achieve specified key performance indicators (KPIs)
Experience:
A good multi-tasker and proactive problem solver
Excellent interpersonal skills, able to build relationships and work effectively with others at all levels across the business
Experience in managing a team to deliver objectives

Ability to plan and manage workloads and work to your own initiative
Friendly, enthusiastic, and personable, always has a positive and constructive attitude to a challenge
At least 3 years of experience managing people
5+ years’ experience working in a paid media environment, managing large accounts
Robust numerical and data analysis skills, with the ability to provide actionable recommendations
Meticulous attention to detail, with strong organisational skills
