Head of Delivery

We're looking for a talented and enthusiastic Head of Delivery to lead our Project Management team.

You will be the figurehead of the Project Management team within Enjoy Digital. You and the team will work with our Design, Development, Content, Client Service, and Performance teams to deliver all projects within the agency, ensuring they are on time, within budget, delivered to exceptional quality, and clearly aligned to our client’s needs and business objectives.  You will work across a number of household brands in the healthcare, retail, finance, and education sectors.

You will be required to develop the project management function within the agency by actively managing, mentoring, and scaling the team as well as implementing a continuous improvement strategy through identifying and introducing new methods, processes, and efficiencies where appropriate to further improve upon our delivery and commercial goals and ultimately delivering exceptional service and exceeding client expectations.

What you’ll do:

Team Management

  • Reporting directly to the Operations Director, you will be responsible for the leadership and day-to-day management of the entire Project Management team across web development and digital marketing retainers/campaigns.
  • Resource management of the Project Management team to ensure they are fully utilised and allocated to any new projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Setting and implementing continuing professional development plans (CPDs) / training plans to ensure the team has the knowledge and clarity to excel in their role and progress within the agency.
  • Ensure members of the team are fulfilling their responsibilities to the required standards through regular one-to-ones, reviews, and team meetings. 
  • Help the team to be efficient with their time and monitoring workloads, identifying resource challenges, and making recommendations to overcome these in line with departmental resource plans whilst taking P&L figures into consideration.
  • Utilise the information and training provided from our employee engagement survey platform to improve the culture, engagement, and motivation of the team.

Business Change

  • Ensure that every opportunity to drive quality and efficiency is taken and is reviewed regularly across the team and wider business
  • Work with the Strategic Board and other heads of department to achieve our plans/targets against the company vision, uphold company values,  maintain/improve our culture and create/complete key initiatives to drive the agency forward in achieving its vision.
  • Work with each department to help us continuously improve our drive for seamless integration


  • Oversee the delivery of all performance retainers and web development retainers/projects within the agency
  • Be the point of escalation for any risks/challenges to the successful delivery of retainers/projects and proactively leading the team in solving these to mitigate any negative impact.
  • Provide a good account of projects/retainer performance via thorough retrospectives ensuring any areas for improvement are followed through in the agency 
  • Provide up-to-date transparency of resources available within the agency and proactively resolve any short-term resource-based challenges across the business
  • Provide detailed reporting on project efficiency/profitability along with solutions on how this can be further improved
  • Consistently review, assess, and improve upon existing processes within the team and across other departments. 
  • Ensure any processes/documentation that is introduced to improve delivery/efficiency are properly communicated and rolled out effectively
  • Review high-value Statements of Work (SoW)to ensure they are accurate from a project management perspective
  • Work across new business opportunities through supporting on tenders & estimates,  being involved in pitches, creating indicative timing plans and providing insight into the role and responsibilities of the Project Management team 
  • Work closely with the Client Services Team to facilitate consistent two-way communication ensuring the Project Management team are aware of all upcoming projects/deadlines and resource is allocated accordingly and, the Client Services team are informed of all/any challenges on projects ahead of them being communicated with the client.

  • At least 6+ years of experience working in an in an agency environment with at least 2 years in a senior position
