With the most illustrious history of any of the 18 English first-class counties, Yorkshire County Cricket Club needed a first class website to match.

Through our creativity, ideas and commerciality we were appointed to bring some much needed sunshine to the White Rose counties website. With their increasing need to communicate with their audience digitally and maximise the effectiveness of their online store, YCCC wanted to ensure they were not caught out.

Our Solution

It was time to take to the field!

First up was re-structuring and streamlining the e-commerce processes of the online store while also improving its overall design.

Then, we hit a six by creating a fresh new site with White Rose TV, a live webcam feed, poll system, email marketing, the new club shop and an integrated White Rose Forum.

Next up was a Social Media campaign for fans to get behind. Here we created a Facebook page, as well as a Twibbon which allows Twitter users let everyone know they support YCCC.

The Results

The website is wowing the crowds, generating over 1.4 million page views since going live on April 2010.

Also, new site visits have increased by 16% compared to the previous website.

The online store is also giving an exceptional performance with sales up 20% in the first 8 weeks, a fact that went down well in the pavilion!

Thanks to these great results, the new YCCC website is big hit with fans old and new. It might even be a contributory factor to the success of the team on pitch – we’d like to think so!

What our friends at YCCC said

"Enjoy Digital have been excellent throughout the entire website development process.

Everyone at the club thinks the site looks brilliant, and we have had many positive comments so thanks for your team's hard work on it."
