Our research quickly identified that people knew they needed a shredder, but didn’t know which one to buy. This was a key fact designing the new site.
We needed to help customers choose the right shredder for their needs.
So, we began developing a Shredder Selector tool. This would turn visitors into buyers by helping them pick the right product quickly and easily.
The finished tool presents visitor with 3 shredders from the range, one being a best match. They can then find out more about the products, with links to videos demonstrations and all-important purchase options via the main Fellowes website. In addition to this, we created an informative section about the threat of identity theft, which tied into the National Identity Fraud Prevention Week.
Plus, to help increase traffic and sales, we built a page-share tool so happy customers could tell all their friends, and we designed an email template for site promotions based on the campaign.
The website has been a huge success in the UK.
In fact, so much so that we have been asked to roll the site into the German market! So, when it comes to shredding information, it’s no secret that people are turning to Fellowes thanks to their new website.
