We identified that their existing online purchasing process was too complicated, and visitors were dropping out of the purchase process. It was time for us to champion the security experts and start turning visitors into customers.

Our main objective was to make the site super user-friendly.
First up was helping visitors choose the right product for their needs by categorising all of them into user type and introducing a product comparison. After all, visitors wanted security software, they just don’t know which one.
It was obvious that the buying process needed an overhaul to make it simpler. We went to town so that now 75% of the decision making was made on the product page itself, allowing visitors to choose their level of protection, duration of protection and upgrade options before they even started to buy. A complete redesign of the site not only complemented BitDefender’s new products, but provided the global team with a full front-end build to plug into their system.
With all this in place, we then researched and implemented a full paid search campaign across the UK to drive traffic.
The results were so good that the project was rolled out not only to their worldwide site but also their ones in Russia, The United States and Spain.
Just goes to show that when it comes to improving online sales, we can make a world of difference.
