An SEO strategy to boost website sales and raise online brand awareness

The task

We Love Sleep is a niche online store offering organic products and specialist products for people with sleep difficulties. They came to us to help them increase their online presence.

We Love Sleep wanted us to:

  • Improve their online traffic volumes
  • Increase the number of conversions through organic traffic

Our Solution

We carried out research to identify where the website's current traffic was coming from and how we could improve the site's exposure on some key target terms that were identified as being high traffic drivers, as well as being particularly relevant to the stores products.

We identified a number of head phrases and long tail phrases that were not currently being targeted, and went after improving their positions in the search engines. We also implemented E-commerce tracking to ensure the client could keep up to date with which channels were showing a return on investment.


The Results

  • 80.4% increase in organic traffic (YOY)
  • 92% increase in non-non branded organic traffic
  • 13 target key phrases in top 5 positions
  • Significant improvements to online sales with 2011 proving to be their most profitable year to date.
