As a leading Yorkshire based Kitchen supplier Ultima needed a website that was visually engaging, exhibiting the craftsmanship of their kitchens whilst also allowing the user to easily navigate and review the vast range of kitchen features and accessories.
We began by putting imagery at the forefront of the website, bringing forward Ultima’s beautiful range of digital kitchen images to entice the user from the moment they arrive at the Homepage.
The site was built on a flexible content management system (CMS) allowing the Ultima team the ability to update the site’s content whenever they require. This could cbe for the addition of a new kitchen range complete with colour schemes and accessories, or keeping their customers up to speed with the latest brand developments via their News area. The site is fully customisable by the user to allow Ultima to stay in complete control of their digital offering.
A technically complex site which in many ways acts as a digital showroom, it utilises Light Box functionality throughout. This allows users to view larger and more detailed visuals of the products whilst maintaining their user journey by not needing to navigate away from the original product or range they were viewing.
Recently launched, the new Ultima website has been very well received by both the business and its customers.
We are now working with Ultima to develop their on-going digital marketing strategy for 2012.
