On Saturday 3rd June, ten ladies from our talented bunch here at Enjoy Digital completed the Race for Life “Pretty Muddy” event at Temple Newsam in Leeds. Taking to the challenge were Jo McCambridge, Hannah Hobbs, Amanda Greenwood, Hannah Gibson, Olivia Hehir, Rebecca Normington, Jemma Utley, Sam Starkey, Gabriela Rebegea and Michelle Matthews.

Amongst the marvellously muddy obstacles were an inflatable mud slide, climbing frames, a gruelling mud pit, hurdles, tunnels and even a tricky spider’s web.  Our girls tackled the mud, navigated under the nets and conquered the course together.

Not only did team ED have a fantastic time, they managed to raise money for a great cause. Jemma Utley said: “I had a really great day, everyone got involved and we all ran across the finish line together, the only down side was having to get all the mud off!”

In total the girls raised £464 for Cancer Research, which will go towards the charity's work to increase the survival rate of people with cancer. Cancer Research hopes for survival rates to increase to 3 in 4 people within the next five years.
